A Glimmer of Hope?

Today I had a job on. This is normally not a suprising thing, but at the moment… they are thin on the ground. My only one this week and, to be honest, I think I may have just about broke even on it.

This month is not looking clever… Next month will be worse unless something changes soon as I won’t have the even modest income from one of my clients that I had this month. It’s depressing really….

But there is hope. I had an enquiry on the way over to the west coast today - it is only a small enquiry at this stage, with a meeting next week to discuss… but I am wondering if there is perhaps scope for upgrading them from a very, very basic entry point to something with a little more meat on the bones. Fingers crossed. I am waiting to head back from another to see if I can build on that existing relationship (also from the most basic of packages) and have a meeting tomorrow to see if I can do a bit more for another client. So lots of ifs, maybes and potential for disaster just now!

Next week the plan is to start contacting architects and see about transitioning to work in that more specialist field….

But today, today was rather nice. And a trip to Kishorn in the sunshine is always to be enjoyed!
