April Showers?

April is done, and I am finally caught up with myself - I have even done (most) of my invoicing too! I think I have one client left to send one out to, and it’s only a small job too. This is good - it means I can go into the bank holiday weekend on top of things and able to have a bit of RnR! I do have a job or two on tomorrow which will need wrapping up same day mind!

It’s been a crazy month though - especially after the disaster that the end of the last financial year doled out. I blasted through my revised targets (at least on turn over… not so much on profit!) so fingers crossed that the momentum is maintained! However, this does mean that art has taken a back seat whilst I get the cashflow the attention it needs - so much so that I only just managed to get a photo in for the monthlies about 20 minutes before the deadline! It wasn’t helped by Lightroom dropping it’s shit this week, which now seems to be working properly again!

So a good April - even if the weather to start the month was challenging! The sun is out and the world has warmed up for Spring - I could use a good few months on the commercial side and then hit the autumn in fine fettle to work on the art!
