Gallery is Live
The big achievement of the day - I have finally got the basic gallery structure up and working! The whole system runs on a drop shipping platform for high end printing, so when you order a product it is printed and shipped direct from them to you meaning I don’t have to hold stock and find time to get to a postal service (which is not the easiest thing to do from rural Scotland).
I have big plans for this, I want a regularly updating primary gallery which is unlimited in terms of print runs, but will be time limited in how long the prints are available for! If I get some which are wildly popular I may bring in a permanent “greatest hits” section to keep those prints available… but that may overly stress the system!
The next big project is to bring in hand print editions from analogue sources - these are going to be absolutely unique pieces and will represent a lot of blood, sweat and tears… and will be priced accordingly! They will be really, really special though!
Otherwise we had a fantastic aurora last night, the family were all out watching it! We could see the colours to the naked eye - even the reds. Bifrost was really putting on a show!
Possibly appropriately I suppose given the US Presidents current actions - the letter he wrote to the Norweigan Premier was giving me PTSD to the nonsense that I recieved from a certain person in my past and her family! But that is by the by, although suggests that The Donald shares certain psychological traits with them… which is worrying for the World as a whole.
But anyway, work has been okay this week - the car is in for major surgery tomorrow. It’s just a shame that the weather has turned as I had half an idea to head out to the West Coast today rather than bashing computer files around the place! It has been a good excuse to stick some music on nice and loud though! If you have Spotify give Spooky Banjo Times a listen, it’s a fantastic playlist of Gothic Country and Murder Folk (apparently).
