I Like Driving in my Car…

It is not a Jaguar.

Today has seen me cover a lot of miles - arriving home on “electrofumes” as I pulled in with only a couple of percent left in the battery. I started off with a job in Nairn, after a bit of a disaster due to a pressure loss in one of the front tyres (they are going to be replaced with All Seasons at some stage, but probably not for a couple more months provided they don’t deflate too fast!) - which set me back by about 45 minutes trying to find an air line! Then it was on to Cove near Poolewe on the other coast, and a fair bit further north. Traffic, and my already delayed schedule, put me to about 2 hours late by the time I got there… as a result nothing is being edited tonight beyond a very rough cut of the video (because the gimbal was playing up and I know I won’t relax tonight without knowing I have “enough” - which I do) and I may run the HDR merges tonight too as they can take a while, but don’t involve much input from me other than checking everything is lined up and grouped properly.

It was an absolutely stunning day though, and it looks like most of this week is going to follow in the same vein. Which is brilliant for postcard shots… but a little rubbish for fine art landscape work! Still, I quite like my photograph of the old shop in Cove.
