Dancing in the Dark

The totallity of the darkroom has arrived! Tomorrow I have no work on, so it will be cracking on with tidying up the utility room, making it light proof and setting up the kit! I have just charged and updated the firmware on the AGO ready for a first roll of film to go through it and see what happens! Whether I get to that stage tomorrow, or whether that is later in the week I am not sure.

Work is very, very quiet this week though so at least I have time. Although that is something of a double edged sword!

Watch this space though - as I am very excited to get really into my analogue work again! Using the community darkroom in WASPs, Inverness, is great - it has so much very, very nice kit. But finding the time to get in, and availability to book when I have the time… and then the hour of driving there and back… it just makes it difficult to squeeze a session in… not that I am turning my back on the place, but I want to be able to use it more efficiently and for the big stuff, when I need it and do the majority of my work here at home. Which means more time… which means faster progress!

And it means colour is also going to become an option!
