Trips ahoy

So we have actually booked a foreign holiday… Passports are in motion and this will be the first trip out the country for Hamish and Angus (Lachlan went to Switzerland with Scouts plus we took him to Singapore and Australia when he was tiny). John booked a HUGE 13 bed house somewhere in South West Iceland yesterday and today we have sorted out flights! It’s only a short trip, unfortunately… we can only manage a week (and to be fair, that is all the time that the Antipodean travelers could spend with us anyway).

Very exciting - and whilst I am hoping to take some nice photos, that is very much NOT the aim of the trip. But I may be looking at a specific camera to take with me as there is no way I can fit my big Nikons in the luggage allowance that EasyJet are giving us! I will be looking at Fujifilm again nearer the time, and seeing if the rep will do me a deal given half the chance!

Otherwise, not much other than work and pain from my currently damaged foot for today! Tomorrow I have Roki to the vet and a job out in Culbokie for the agency (the other photographer is away, probably on the Spine Race, so they have come asking me to cover… I think once my current paperwork expires I won’t bother re-submitting it as it’s not worth the effort for an occasional job here and there).

Here is Angus for tonight playing on his tablet in the dark.
