Things did not go to plan today… although calling it a bad day is pushing it really. It was a non-starter of a day… and probably not a positive start to the new month! School meetings (actually, they were fairly positive) then an absent cat that was supposed to go to the vet (rescheduled), a phonecall that I had booked with a photographic society that… didn’t happen (rescheduled now)… and a job where the keys had not been returned on Friday so I couldn’t access the property I was supposed to photograph. Rescheduled.
All in all… a frustrating day rather than a bad one I suppose.
Let’s hope the month picks up soon as I don’t want to write off November yet! This is, usually, the last half decent month of the year before the winter slowdown on the property front and the long wait for the market to wake up in the new year - which has been into April some years… I am hoping that 2027 is not a year like that! Anyway, I am working on the art side in the slow down anyway - although this weeks plans for that are now somewhat in disarray since I will be rescheduling everything into the empty spaces I was planning to use! I had hoped to get out to Kishorn this week, and possibly Glenmorison… both are now off the table, instead I shall find some alternative places to shoot - I have a couple in mind for a revisit come to think of it! Although not specifically relavent to the series I am working on they may be good locations to just work a little more and see what I can do with them! They are, sort of, juxtaposed to the main theme though so may work after a fashion!
