A Day of chill

So today has been the opposite of Rock and Roll… a long sleep in and then a day of lounging about and trying to get over this proto-lurgy that I am currently battling! The snow has thawed to slush, refrozen, and made outside a very slidy place to be too which helped with the desicion to do NOTHING today!

Next week is shaping up quite nicely just now with 3 jobs booked in so far! I am hoping more will come, but 3 a week is ok for now - I am looking forward to that being 3 a day though!

Plans are still developing in terms of moving forward with projects. I have been chatting to Fujifilm about some ideas and may be tempted away from Nikon as a result, although I may stick with the big N for the commercial work - at least for now. There are a couple of cameras currently offered by Fuji that I am very, very intreagued by - and there is also a rumour of a dedicated panoramic beast possibly in the works for 2028, which if it is true, would have me all over it! For now, however, it is the GFX that has me interested - both the 100SII and the 100RF are very much on “the list” with possibly the latter being of most immediate interest as a companion to my film photography work and also as a travel camera for the summer’s adventures.

But more on that later - there is a lot to do before dropping serious money on a new system! Plus a chat with the accountant to be had!

For now, here is Haggis the Cat tonight as I have, as I mentioned, been nowhere!
