Hanging in the Gallery

I am starting to really ramp up the art attack! There are quite a few rungs to jump through between now and then - but I am working on gallery representation in an online, virtual, setting to start with. This will give me a global market, but I would like to find a bricks and mortar establishment or two as well as time goes on.

There are more plans beyond this too - I need to work on open calls for exhibitions over the coming year to get my work in front of more people. More competition entries, finding opportunities to show my work to art curators and generally trying to make a bit of noise.

Finally - I am going to run a secondary product line, whilst my main work will be the one-off, unique, fibre based archival prints I want to add in some more open prints, still very limited runs, but printed on resin coated paper to speed up the process. Both lines will be available here on my website, possibly via an online gallery too, but largely it will be aimed at art fairs/markets/events - so I will be looking at getting a gazebo, display boards, print racks and whatever else I need to sell in those markets. These will be a mix of framed and mounted prints, and probably a bit smaller than my fine-art line. They will also be from different negatives to keep the main works as unique one-off products.

My plan was always to move into the art market, but I have been trying to decide on direction and process. Now I have that worked out it is time to start launching myself into the art world properly.
