Bad Weather but Better Days

Today has been a wash out. Again.

To make matters worse this is the best day of the week according to the forecast! Maybe I will get some dramatic scenes though - I actually quite like terrible weather!

Today I was working around Inverness and Fort Augustus so stopped off on the south side of Loch Ness at Croachy to photograph the old bothy there. I love this old spot, and I think this is my best angle on it yet! The long lens foreshortens the scene a wee bit to bring the mountainsides in closer and create that more dramatic scene!

Next month is looking like it is an improving picture in terms of work - things are coming in for the rest of this week and into next at the moment so whilst March may be a lost cause hopefully April will see a change in fortunes! This is helping my mood I think… the idea of failing just as things were coming together was quite a blow, so if I can turn it from a disaster to a set back then I at least have somewhere to rebuild from!
