Dull Days

The weather this winter has never really lived up to the hype. It’s not been wet, and it’s not really been that cold by our usual standards here either. But it has been grey. So very, very grey. Looking ahead to the rest of winter on the long term forecasts and things look to stay much the same. There isn’t a great deal of water coming down off the hill though, which does leave me a little concerned about the summer if it remains dry - and whether our water supply will keep up - and the loch level is very low already which could cause difficulties with launching the lifeboat further down the line. It does raise questions about the pump hydro schemes that they are desperately trying to foist on us as well.

But here are the weekend photos to add to my project as I wait to see what next week will bring (it is currently a little too quiet!)
