Gonna Be a Cold Day in…

The house… mostly in the house. It seems that the diverter valve to the underfloor heating is playing up. I have switched it to manual operation and there was the sound of water wooshing into the pipes so hopefully we will have warmth emminating from the underfloor heating system soon. It is a cost I could do without though just now as my car is due in for some body work (although that has pushed back to March so hopefully we will see a strong February to build the funds for that) and a very imminent tax bill so long as the paperwork has gone in.

Anyway, a somewhat busy day today and it was nice to get away from Inverness for a bit with a job out in Easter Ross. I have a barn that I have photographed before over that way that I stopped off at again in passing - it has this fantastic texture to the wooden walls and an old corrugated iron roof that just makes it a fascinating subject.
