Heart of Glass

Today has been bleak. Again. But on the plus side the first part of my new project arrived in the post! A Seiko/Zenza Bronica 40mm f4.0 lens. In the next few days the Zenza Bronica ETRSi 6×4.5 medium format body will arrive along with a speed grip and 120 back… another package with a 35mm standard back… and a third with a conversion kit to make the 35mm back into a panoramic 35mm back (an actual official pano back would have cost about 3 times what I have paid for everything else, they are REALLY expensive, rare and sought after - so I am going down the conversion route!)

I am really excited about this wee project! I am hoping that it gives me another, easier, option to shoot panoramic film - it is around the 2:1 ratio that I have been enjoying with the 6×12 negatives, but a little more reasonable on film costs! One day I will maybe get an XPan, which is what I really want, but that is about ten times the price of this Bronica set up and I need to start selling a serious quanitity of art to justify that one!

Today’s photo is a somewhat moist Loch Ness.
