Revising Forecasts

So this year was looking like it was going to be a great springboard into the 26/27 year… that was before the wheels came off… so I am having to dramatically alter my forecast and goals for next year, at least at the moment. I have a few irons in the fire as it stands and I won’t go down without a fight!

I spent most of today just tweaking my video setup ready to run some showcases. The first is tomorrow for an existing client that I am wanting to upgrade to be more regular and higher value work - meanwhile I am waiting to hear back from a test job last week too, and I think I can probably do something more for them if the opportunity arises to help win more business in that area. If both of these come off then I think we will be okay, but I am pushing another couple of ideas out there too. I have also signed up to a business networking event a little further north for the end of the month and will spend some time researching any other opportunities in that part of the Highlands so that I can perhaps seek out some other opportunities whilst in the area.

Marketing and selling myself is really not my strong point, it isn’t easy to be positive about yourself when you are battling the black dogs, self doubt and general low self esteem that plagues me - and a blow like that I have had recently really does knock any confidence right back. But I do know that I am good at this….

Anyway, today’s photo was from a quick exploration up some side roads on the way through to Beauly I haven’t been down before. There wasn’t much obvious to see, but I have found a parking area that gives me access into an area that looks promising on the maps.
