Suprise Suprise

Our errant chicken turned up today, 4 weeks after vanishing, along with 3 small bundles of fluff! They have since vanished once more so we are hoping that they make it through the night and we can, hopefully, get them housed in the coop I put around the back for them.

Otherwise it has been a day of domestic challenges (new fridge freezer delivery and the old one taken away), editing a mass of photographs from yesterday and continuing to battle with software alternatives that run on Windows on ARM better than Lightroom. Progress is slow, but it is going in the right direction - and if I can get the current candidate (On1 Photo RAW) working as it should then it may make life a lot easier in future. It has, I think, a batch editing function on the HDR system which may allow me to do everything in one package - just now it is painfully slow so I am not getting far though, probably as it tries to make sense of my huge image library! The laptop is also struggling, but with a smaller batch of old images to work through.
