The Annual Darkroom Social
Today was the annual Inverness Darkroom day out/social to the Loch of Blairs. I missed it last year, having joined shortly after the event, so this was my first time attending. I had to cut short as I didn’t want to leave the boys unsupervised for too long, maybe next year I will be able to stay the duration! Anyway - I have never been to the Loch of Blairs before - passed it many times, but never actually stopped. It’s a great place though - a community owned woodland/reserve which is full of interest.
I was shooting on a mix of panomamic film (set to 6×12), medium format 6×9 and a few frames to test concepts with the digital GFX100RF, which was proving really useful to test out compositions on the fly, particularly as I could switch between panoramic and 3×2 formats with ease - and also had it set to a black and white profile to remove all the colour distraction and see how the compositions worked.
I now have 4 rolls of 120 film ready to process up and see what I got! For the moment though, here is one from the digital which I rather like!
