Video Killed the Radio Star

Today I recieved a package… something I ordered quite a while ago… a Nikon ZR Cinema camera. This turns my workflow on it’s head in terms of moving images - rather than using a stills focused hybrid camera to produce video I am now using a, more or less, dedicated video beast (okay - it can shoot serious stills too - but it is massively engineered towards the moving image). I am looking forward to really getting to grips with this new camera, which will also take the role of standby body for my main work since it can do the job, just with more faff as it isn’t it’s primary focus.

There are a few quality of life accessories still to arrive mind… mainly a cage to make mounting it on the gimbal a simpler process. And a microphone system so that I don’t need to switch cameras for the talky bits!

Not to start really learning how to shoot movies!
