Like a Hurricane

Wow - that wind just came up out of nowhere today! It was a bit breezy in the morning when we popped in to town for a birthday lunch for Jen… and a couple of donuts from Perk may have accidentally come home with us too. We had to rush home though as the wind built up rapidly into something a little worrying… the chicken coop cover was somewhat torn and the run was shifting in the wind, the baby chicks were somewhat traumatised. A quick attack with some concrete anchor bolts, drilled in, and some zip ties to reconnect bits of tattered cover and we were all good for the peak of the storm!

Back to work tomorrow, but it is still looking very quiet so I should really get on with sorting out the new series of prints I will be launching soon(ish), practicing with the new darkroom which is a different prospect to the one I have been using, and generally building this side of the business which I see as the long term future for my photography as I slip into my dottage!
